We have been in the process of buying a new house, and today we signed our closing documents! So I guess we can say it's official, we are actually going to be moving! We are thrilled to move into the new house. It is in a wonderful neighborhood for Alex, with a great school district for the future, and is much closer to Rich's work. It is a beautiful home, with plenty of room as our family grows, and it makes sense for so many reasons for our family.
And even though I know that it is the best thing for us, I am still a little sad to think about leaving our current home. It is the house we bought as a new couple, got engaged in (I can remember the exact place I was standing when Rich proposed), returned to after getting married, and started our family in. And that nursery! Oh, the nursery that I taped and painted and touched-up and toiled over....and touched up again! And there are so many great times that we have had with friends and family in this home. It has truly been where "our heart is."
But it's time to move on, time to move our hearts and make the new house into our new home. It is a time of beginnings for our family, and I'm excited for the future and for making new memories in a new place.

Congratulations on the new house!!! It's always so exciting, but sometimes a little sad when you think of all the memories you made there. But there will be so many more in the new house! What part of town will you be in? Can't wait to see pictures of the new digs! :)
