Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So I have a confession to make. I am obsessed with Bakerella. Almost as much as the Pioneer Woman. Who are these characters, you might wonder? They're bloggers who spend a lot of time writing and photographing their various cooking adventures. And I love to cook, love photography, and equally love to read about cooking and photography. Perfect combinations!

For quite a few months, I have been returning to Bakerella's blog to look at her adorable baking creations, especially these. And I'm a regular reader of The Pioneer Woman's blog too. Then, worlds collided, fate intervened, and the Pioneer Woman invited Bakerella to come to her ranch and give a class on how to make the Cake Pops that I have been idolizing. It was too much. I couldn't put it off anymore, I just had to make them.

What were my results?

I have discovered that I'm not as good as Bakerella, especially on my first attempt. But here's my 1st Cake Pop, inspired especially by St. Patrick's Day:



I'm not even going to post the other ones. It's too embarassing. But they are tasty at least!
